The 2015 ADDY Awards – Silicon Valley have come and gone, in a celebration where great import beer was poured, shrimp tacos by Chachos were so good they ran out, Method 42 was a gracious host providing a location that engages the senses, and Six Finger films video production brought jeers and cheers and a cameo of the middle finger as well. Another show in the books as the Addy winners will automatically moved on to regional competition and winners from that will go to national review. The Valley of The Hearts delight continues to delight with great creative execution as Silicon Valley Advertising Agencies and creatives gathered to celebrate another year of making clients happy.
It’s where even a first time submission by United Way’s creative group can come in and win best of show. Congratulations to them for this great achievement. The Milagro team also consumed tacos, import beer and hung out with great company amongst some of the Valley’ss greatest creatives. Along the way we also brought home a Bronze, a Silver, and a Gold Addy award for work we executed for several of our clients. We are always humbled when our peers select our work to be recognized amongst some of the Valley’ss best creatives.
We are also mindful that the wins came from client work that allowed us to exercise our best creative effort. Our client Suenatron won a Bronze for the web site and logo work we created for them. The guys in the band are by far some of the coolest cats in music today, and their brand works well for them. A Silver Addy was awarded on our digital 2-D animation short used to promote Dia San José. This project was a labor of cultural love as the team participated in a creative jam session, with two firsts involved, the first time an intern in our office was awarded an industry Addy and the first time we worked with our amigo Will Orozco in creating the animation short. The Gold Addy was also a staff favorite as we love working with ¡Viva Fest! in need of recruiting a Gay and Lesbian Mariachi group.
We loved our Ahuaaaa moment!
